This small green sea turtle was found on the beach behind the Mayan Princess. It was rescued by a couple of our guests after washing in with fishing net covering one flipper. Tony Amos from the ARK was called and he came out and took the turtle to the ARK for surgery to remove the damaged flipper and for recovery. Once it has recovered it will be released back into the Gulf of Mexico. Click on the image for a larger version.
